I hate to say it again in these comments, but you also provide som great insight into the topic, Jody. Especially where you realized you were overloaded. Feeling this way can prevent one from seeing the issues in their life. But doing all the things you shared, one can begin the process of taking back control. Great work Jody! 🤗🙌🏾

This resonates not just for me, but for how I want to raise my daughter. I don’t want her to grow up thinking success is about grinding harder or being the most disciplined in the room. I want her to understand that it’s about making smart choices easy, building supportive routines and seeing herself as someone who already belongs in the life she wants. We actually talked this week about how brushing your teeth can be a trigger for other good habits like reading or setting an intention for the day. She loved the idea! Thank you for giving me a clear and empowering way to teach her how to build a life that works with her, not against her. Have a great weekend Idris Elijah!

After your fear newsletter, I built a habit to work on my public speaking. Today’s issue made me realize that it’s not about pushing through with willpower anymore. I’ve built a system and now it’s who I am. That identity shift changes everything. Appreciate how these ideas keep layering in and leveling me up!

Exactly Clark, it’s not about pushing through with pure willpower. You are who you are because of your systems. Great insight and I’m glad you appreciate the layering 🤓🙌🏾

This really reinforced the shift I started making a few weeks ago, especially around my writing. I started a new habit of writing one paragraph after my morning cup of coffee. It’s working because I’m not forcing it, I’ve just made it easy. And more than that, it feels like who I am. I’m not dragging myself to the page anymore, I’m meeting myself there. Big difference! Grateful for this continued clarity Idris Elijah!

Reading today’s newsletter really brought my diet changes into a new light. I didn’t just swap ice cream for Greek yogurt and mashed potatoes for hummus. I built a system and now it feels natural. That reminder that discipline is a boost, not the engine is so true! I’m not forcing it anymore. It’s just who I am now. I’m someone who fuels himself well. Thank you for helping these shifts really stick, Idris!

This really connected with what I’ve been working on since your earlier newsletter. Simplifying my life. Clearing out the noise and the junk gave me clarity to actually see my habits. Now I get that I wasn’t undisciplined, I was overloaded. Like you said today, it’s about making success automatic and aligned with who I’m becoming. It’s wild how much easier growth feels when your habits match your identity. I enjoyed this one Idris Elijah!
