This made me rethink how I plan on dropping music in the future. I’ve been focused on getting songs out but not really giving people a reason to come back to me. There’s no thread connecting anything yet. I’m starting to see how building that connection matters just as much as the song itself. I appreciate you breaking it down like this Idris Elijah and enjoy your weekend!
You're most welcome, Brooke! Love what you got out of this issue. Intention and continuity. It's an important lesson to learn for creatives like yourself. Have a great weekend! 😁
Between work, home and everything with my daughter, I don’t have time to keep starting over in anything I care about. The idea of building something people come back to, whether it’s writing or even just how I show up consistently spoke to me. It made me think about showing up with more intention, not just effort. Thank you for this important topic Idris Elijah, I really needed it! Happy Friday to you!
What you said about giving people something to come back to stayed with me. It’s not about doing more, it’s about being more intentional with what I’m building across my artwork. I don’t just want to pour everything into one painting and then move on like it’s a one-off moment. I want a real thread that connects all my work to keep people more engaged over time. I really enjoyed this one Idris Elijah and I’m going to put this into practice! Happy Friday to you!
I’ve been thinking about the ebook I want to write this year and this made me realize it’s not about getting more eyes. It’s about giving people a reason to come back. I don’t want someone to read one chapter and move on. I want it to stay with them, pull them forward and help them in their lives. That shift alone changes how I’m thinking about how I will work on this project. Thank you for sharing your insights on this so clearly Idris and Happy Friday!
I can see now why some of my writing lands once and disappears. I’ve been treating everything like it has to stand alone instead of building on itself, so nothing really sticks. The part about emotional residue hit for me too. I’ve written things that were clear but not memorable. The idea of creating something people return to and not just read changes how I’m approaching my next few stories. Thank you Idris Elijah for giving me so much to think about and have a great weekend!
You're exactly right. It easy to just write, versus building something as you write. That shift is game-changing. How goes the ebook? Feel free to leave a rating on Gumroad, would love to hear what you think. Otherwise, have a great weekend as well!
Hi Idris Elijah! The ebook is great! I wanted to learn how to cook because I’m not very good in the kitchen lol and my close friend had a birthday coming up so I wanted to see if I could make her favorite dish for her. I read the ebook twice and was able to make a lasagna that turned out pretty good! I’m not a world renowned chef yet but I feel like I did learn the basics of a useful skill to have! I’ll be happy to give you a 5 star review and feel free to use what I told you to promote your work. Thanks again!!
I’m so pleased you found the ebook useful! And thank you so much for the rating and allowing me to use what you’ve shared. I think it’s brilliant you used it for cooking. That use case never came to mind. Freakin brilliant!! 🤗🤩🤓
Is this the Learn Any Skill in 10 hours ebook? I bought that too and it was very helpful! I used it to get better at dance since I’ve been doing that with my daughter for many months now. I focused on just learning how to salsa dance and it gave me so much confidence to learn more steps. Where can I write a review too Idris Elijah? Also you can use my review here to show other potential readers!

Moving with intention is so important. Definitely a stark contrast to just effort. I know you got this! Happy Friday and have a great weekend! 🤗
