I appreciate how practical this is for writers. Breaking discipline into identity, friction, triggers, minimum action and proof turned a vague idea into something I can actually use. I especially liked the concept that “write the newsletter” isn’t an action. It’s a project made up of lots of smaller decisions. That’s an easy thing to overlook. Thank you Idris Elijah for another thoughtful lesson!

I love the idea of making the minimum action small enough to survive a busy day. Between a 9-5, my daughter and everything else, it’s easy to think that if I can’t do a full session then why bother? I can see that a few minutes still count and that consistency doesn’t always have to look impressive. That’s a mindset I’ll take with me this week. Thank you Idris Elijah for sharing these ideas!
